For circular frames
If you need additional lighting for viewing inside of the boiler, silos, tank, etc. a special overlay can be used. This overlay can be used with combination of sight glass and light glass.
Depending on the working conditions must be selected appropriate material and method of fixing lighting to sight glass frame. Please note that some luminaires are suitable for use in explosive environments. Luminaries are suitable for use in food processing. Most of lighting is available in LED technology.
Lumistar Luminaires (non EX)
Suitable for non explosion hazardous areas (non EX). When correctly fitted, dust and water jet tight to IP 65 and EN 60 529/DIN VDE 0470 part 1.
Independent of internal vessel pressure/vacuum; max. permissible ambient temperature measured at cable entry gland 80°C. Where ambient temp. > 40°C, heat resistant cable (e. g. type Sinotherm 110 H05GG-F 3G 1,5 mm2) must be fitted.
The max. ambient temperature for luminaires in LED-technology is: 40°C.
Sight glass fittings with integrated lighting for aseptic and sterile environments in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food processing and chemical industries. More information: read Steril technology_EN.pdf.
International certification organization UL (www.ul.com) is testing devices in terms of safety. Products appearing on the UL list (UL-listed) are products of very high quality guaranteeing safety. The following products passed the UL certification and are UL-listed:
Lumistar Luminaires USL 13-UL and USL 33-UL, stainless steel
Lumistar Luminaire USL 15-UL and USL 35-UL, stainless steel
Lumistar Luminaires (for EX environment)
This Ex-type sight glass luminaires are designed for universal applications in potentially explosive (Ex) environments. For illuminating the interior of tanks, hoppers, silos, agitators and other - normally closed - vessels and reactors as well as visual flow indicators in potentially explosive environments.
Gas: Zones 1 and 2, Dust: Zones 21 and 22.
Suitable for use in food processing industries.
