Non-Asbestos gasket sheets KLINGER QUANTUM

Ever since the development of non-asbestos fibre gasket materials, users have been searching for a material with the high temperature properties of Klingerit compressed asbestos fibre. Klinger, as the leading manufacturer of static gasket materials was the pioneer in the development of non-asbestos based gasket materials and continue to develop materials which push the limitations of fibre reinforced gaskets. Until recently the material with the highest temperature capability was Klinger-top-sil-ML1 which was developed to extend the range of non-asbestos based materials by increasing the usable temperature by the incorporation of a multi-layer structure with an HNBR binder.

Klinger have now developed Quantum to bring an unprecedented level of flexibility for fibre reinforced gasket
materials at high temperatures. Klinger Quantum is exclusively HNBR bound which affords the material excellent
temperature resistance and resistance across a much broader range of chemicals than all other fibre reinforced
gasket materials. When a gasket material remains flexible it can more readily adapt to expansion and pressure variations without crack formation and subsequent leakage.
