Type 393 - slip-on flange ANSI

SHORT DESCRIPTION: SIGHT GLASS WITH ANSI-SLIP-ON (WELDING SOCKET)

The ACI sight glass with slip-on flange connection, type 393, is a round tank sight glass for mounting on open pipe ends.

This easy-to-use model is designed as a slip-on connection. The lower flange is inserted onto the pipe end and professionally welded. The gasket on the media side, the glass pane and the outer glass cushion are then arranged on top and pressed against by the upper flange.

Type 393 is equipped with proven industrial glass (borosilicate glass)  in accordance with DIN 7080 and can withstand most chemicals for a long time even at high temperatures. If even this very resistant glass does not meet your requirements, it is still possible to provide it with a protective layer of mica or to rely entirely on high-performance glasses such as quartz or sapphire glass.

For sealing, we rely on proven materials from well-known manufacturers, such as KlingerSIL C4400 or Frenzelit Novaphit MST. We also have soft materials such as siliconeEPDM and NBR in stock for you.

When it comes to flange materials, you can choose between high-quality stainless steel alloys such as 1.4571 or 1.4404, duplex steel, common steel grades for tank construction such as P265GH or S235JRG and also high-performance alloys such as Hastelloy.
