Type 435 - PN3
Rectangular level indicator sight glass for visual observation of fluid levels in vessels, boilers and silos. Intended for welding into the tank wall. Provides a large field of observation. It can also be used as a level indicator (liquid level indicator). The successor to the type 350 sight glass fittings.
SHORT DESCRIPTION - RECTANGULAR LEVEL INDICATOR TYPE 435
Type 435 sight glasses are a series of rectangular sight glasses characterized by a solid construction and a large field of observation. In the event of contact with aggressive media, we recommend using protective layers such as mica, KEL-F, PRFE or FEP to protect the glass surface from chemical and thermal influences.
In addition to borosilicate glass (described in the industry standard DIN 7081), we also use cheaper soda-lime glass (in accordance with DIN 8903) in the case where your application does not require high temperature resistance .
The seal is made, as with most of our sight glasses, with flat high quality gaskets such as KlingerSIL C4400 or highly chemically resistant PTFE in untreated or expanded form. Soft, but durable, gaskets, such as silicone, EPDM or NBR, can also be installed at the factory.
As flange material, you can choose from our whole catalogue of high-quality types of steel and stainless steel, such as S235, 1.4571 or 1.4541. The internationally widespread stainless steel 1.444 is also available, along with high-performance alloys or duplex steel.
