SHORT DESCRIPTION - FLOW SIGHT GLASS TYPE 531 WITH WELDING ENDS
The ACI flow sight glass type 531 uses the same tried and tested basic construction as Type 530 and is therefore significantly lighter than comparable fittings with a cast housing. As with Type 530, only high-quality materials are used in a process that is tightly controlled from issuing the offer to delivery, to ensure that the fitting fulfils your requirements.
The viewing windows facing each other of Type 531 allow the observation and illumination of the flowing medium and in the standard configuration consist of the proven borosilicate glass according to the norm DIN 7080. If this highly resistant glass is not adequate, we can manufacture special glasses made of quartz or sapphire especially for your requirements.
Sealing is provided by quality seals from well-known suppliers, which we select according to the requirements of your individual use. Apart from widespread aramid fibre material seals such as KlingerSIL C4400, we also use seal plates made of graphite with or without metal insert, pure or expanded PTFE, or in extreme operating conditions also mica compound seals.
